Adult Small Groups
What is a Small Group?
A Small Group is typically made up of four to twelve people who get together regularly during the week to hang out, learn about God, help each other out in the normal challenges of life, and work together to impact their community. Each Small Group has a trained leader (that’s good to know, right?) and Groups meet in any number of locations from coffee shops to work places, but most Groups meet in homes. Groups meet either weekly or every other week and meetings times vary by group.
More Importantly, Why Small Groups?
It’s clear to us that living the Life Jesus offers simply cannot be done on your own. It’s not just that you’re going to need help at times (even though you are). You need to be connected with other people. Period. Built into the regular rhythm of your life needs to be an ongoing connection with other people that are living the Life of Jesus. You’ll encourage and serve each other. You’ll learn about God through the Bible and grow together. And, you’ll work together to make a difference in your community.
What do Small Groups do? You know you're curious!
This can vary from group to group, but most groups have a time of fellowship (maybe a snack or a meal), prayer, Bible or book study and discussion with life application. Not all groups study the same thing. Some discuss the weekend message by using our online Small Group Questions, some read and study books about Christian living, and others study books of the Bible.
We also encourage our Small Groups to serve the community together by getting involved in our all-church outreach events or discovering other ways to serve our community as a Small Group. It's amazing what God can do through a group of people as they use their skills, gifts and resources to help those in need.

Small Groups Provide:
- A Place to Learn
None of us knows everything about the Bible. So we study it together to unpack what it says and how it applies to our lives. - A Place to Serve
Serving changes us and is a critical piece to living Life as though Jesus were living through us. Small Groups serve their communities together. - A Place to Belong
You can’t live the Life of Jesus by yourself. Small Groups provide a place to intentionally form relationships over time so that you can “do life together.”
