With a "surprise" in October, a presidential election in November, and the end of the Mayan calendar in December, it's a conspiracy theorists field day!
People are building bomb shelters, storing food, stockpiling ammo, frequenting the blogosphere, and even (gasp) consulting their dusty Bible. The end is coming, sure, but it's always been coming. Thankfully, and peacefully, God has told us what we need to know about end of the world events. In "Jesus, the Mayans, and a Great Big Ball of Fire" we will dust off the prophesy sections of our Bibles and discover the real surprise about God's plan for His world and His people.
