Humanitarian Aide
Pure and genuine religion in the sight of God the Father means caring for orphans and widows in their distress and refusing to let the world corrupt you. James 1:27
The Humanitarian Aide arm of Ethiopia Hope is focused on relieving the orphans suffering in the Capital City of Addis Ababa, where there are 250,000 orphans living on the street. There is no government help available, so we have partnered with Children's Hope International to find ways to help. We accomplish this most by sending work teams to Ethiopia to give hands on help through focused projects such as building security walls and preparing grounds for vegetable farms.
How You Can Help
- Pray - Ask God to allow our teams and generosity to result in the community of Addis Ababa to ask why a group from the U.S. would do this. When our first team was in the country, the whole city of several million became fascinated with the project. Our team was on the nightly news and the city leaders gave our team gifts to thank them for coming. Pray that this fascination will cause exposure to Jesus and His love that transforms Addis Ababa.
