Adoption
Adoption provides a future for orphans by becoming part of a family in Montana. Harvest has committed to improving the circumstances for orphans in the country of Ethiopia through humanitarian projects, however even with the aide the country is currently unable to care for all of its 4 million plus orphans. We believe that loving, christian families, who have a desire to build their homes and care for Ethiopian children should be encouraged and supported. Harvest has partnered with Christian World Adoption to help families grow through adoption.
Basic requirements for adopting from Ethiopia
- Couples must have been married for at least one year.
- At least one of the couple must be over 25 years of age.
- Single women are allowed in limited numbers, so they should place their name on Harvest's waiting list.
- An age difference of no more than 45 years between the child and the younger parent is preferred.
