Bio: Derry is the president of Intelligent Growth, Inc. a consulting company helping small and medium size organizations through transitions. Derry is also the Chief Strategy Officer at Journey Church, which is a church, plant from Harvest Church. Journey started with 90 a little over 5 years ago and now is 1600 a weekend. Derry is a PHD Candidate at the University of Birmingham in England with a body of research focused on “How to sustain an empowering culture in social systems.” Derry is married to Marcy and they have three children, Nathan, Nolan and Natalie, all of who are his closest friends.

Bio: Pastor Eric Hutch joined the staff of Harvest Church in August 2007 following 11 years of ministry as a Youth and Associate Pastor with a church in his hometown of Helena. Eric attended Montana State University graduating with a bachelor’s degree in business administration with an emphasis in accounting. Following graduation from MSU, Eric embarked upon a career with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Montana for six and a half years before resigning as District Sales Manager to become a full-time minister.

Eric enjoys life with his wife of 21 years, Shari, and their four sons Kyle, Kemper, Karter, and Kobe. Summer provides opportunity for Eric to fulfill his competitive nature by playing on the Harvest Church men’s softball team. He and his wife find fulfillment helping couples discover the experience of life-giving, Christ-honoring marriage and family relationships.

Bio: Pete Wilson is the founding pastor of Cross Point Community Church in Nashville, Tennessee. Bio: Joe attended Southeastern University in Lakeland, Florida, where he earned a B.A. in Pastoral Ministries with a minor in New Testament in 1992. Joe went on to serve as a youth pastor for 11 years in both Florida & Ohio, learning early on the importance of small group ministry and the care in which they provide students.

Joe later served on 2 church staffs in Florida as a Small Groups Pastor, establishing strong Small Group ministries in these churches by implementing the Purpose Driven Campaign Strategy. Joe recently joined the staff at Harvest Church in Billings, Montana to again pioneer small groups from scratch.

With over 18 years of leading youth and adult small group ministries, Joe believes that small groups are the greatest vehicles by which people are best cared for, grow spiritually, and mobilized to reach a community for Christ. Joe and his wife, Robin, have been married 19 years and have three daughters, Lauryn, Julia, and Elly.

Bio: Lance Witt has been called a Pastor’s Pastor. Lance’s broad spectrum of ministry experience, his strategic thinking gifts, and his passion for spiritual formation give him a unique ability to peer into the soul of a leader and the soul of a church.

Lance is the founder of a ministry called REPLENISH and has a new book by the same title. His ministry is dedicated to helping those in Christian leadership live spiritually healthy lives and build spiritually healthy teams.

He served 20 years as a senior pastor before serving 6 years as an Executive/Teaching pastor at Saddleback Church in Southern California. He led Saddleback’s Spiritual Growth Campaigns, such as 40 Days of Purpose and 40 Days of Community. He also developed the training tools and resources that thousands of churches used in their own implementation of these campaigns. Lance has a book on Soul Care and Leadership that will be released in 2011.

Lance has been married to his wife, Connie, for 32 years. They have two married children.

Bio: Steve earned a B.S. in Economics from West Chester University. Upon graduation, he joined the U.S. Navy and was commissioned and trained as a pilot. He married his college sweetheart Megan and they began a life together that to date, has included eight children and 15 moves.

He was awarded a Master of Arts in Theological Studies in 2006 and a Master of Arts in Christian Ministries in 2007. Steve earned his Doctor of Ministry degree in May 2011 from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. His dissertation topic was the role of parents in the character development of children.

Steve and Megan are instrumental in the lives of young parents. They have developed a parenting course entitled Parenting Matters; The Nine Practices of The Proactive Parent. They travel extensively, teaching weekend parenting seminars.

Steve is currently a Commander in the U.S. Navy Reserve and a First Officer for American Airlines. He recently retired as Senior Pastor of Cornerstone Baptist Church of Topsham, ME. to become the President of Characterhealth Corporation; a non-profit conference ministry aimed at equipping parents to train the next generation of character-healthy leaders.
