Marriage Enrichment
Cost of class and materials - $30
Regular maintenance helps a vehicle run smoothly and reduces the risk of breakdown. Sports professionals spend hours with a coach perfecting their technique and skills. The greatest achievements in life take practice, training and dedication. It’s the same with marriage: A strong, loving and lifelong relationship doesn’t happen by chance. It takes effort and dedication to keep the fun and romance alive. Each of us can learn how to make even the happiest relationship better.
The Marriage Course is designed to provide couples with an opportunity to learn and practice the skills presented throughout each session. Breaks during the session provide opportunity for couples to discuss any issues that have surfaced during the presentation. Background music is played and couples are seated at their own table to ensure their discussions are not overheard.
The Marriage Course is for any married or cohabitating couple, whether they’ve been together for one year or sixty-one years, whether they have a good relationship or are struggling. The practical tools of the course are applicable to everyone. For couples in the military and those facing extended times apart, there is an additional session to help prepare for the pressures these seasons bring.

GriefShare
Cost of class materials - $15
It may be hard for you to feel optimistic about the future right now. If you’ve lost a spouse, child, family member or friend, you’ve probably found there are not many people who understand the deep hurt you feel. This can be a confusing time when you feel isolated and have many questions about things you’ve never faced before.
GriefShare groups meet weekly to help you face these challenges and move toward rebuilding your life. Each GriefShare session has three distinct elements:
Video Seminar with Experts
Each week your GriefShare group will watch a video seminar featuring top experts on grief and recovery subjects. These videos are produced in an interesting-to-watch television magazine format featuring expert interviews, real-life case studies, dramatic reenactments and on-location video.
Support Group Discussion with Focus
After viewing the video, you and the other group members will spend time as a support group, discussing what was presented in that week’s video seminar and what is going on in your lives.
Workbook Based Personal Study and Reflection
During the week you will have the opportunity to use your workbook for further personal study of the grieving process and to help sort out your emotions through journaling. Your group will spend time discussing questions and comments from the workbook study.
When to Join a GriefShare Group
You are welcome to begin attending the GriefShare group at any session. Each is “self-contained,” so you do not have to attend in sequence. You will find encouragement and help whenever you begin. You will be able to continue with GriefShare through the next 13-week cycle and view any of the videos you have not seen.
Who Should Come...Who Should Not
GriefShare is for people grieving the death of a loved one. Many other life situations bring deep grief, such as separation and divorce, a loved one who is dying, estrangement, loss of a loved one to a cult, loss of custody of a child through divorce and more. If you are struggling with a loss not due to a death, GriefShare is not designed to meet your grief needs for healing. We encourage you to ask your pastor or a church leader for guidance in finding a support group or counselor.
Shepherding a Child's Heart
Class size is limited, sign up early.
Shepherding a Child's Heart is about how to speak to the heart of your child. The things your child does and says flow from the heart. Luke 6:45 puts it this way: "...out of the overflow of the heart the mouth speaks." Designed for parents with children of any age, this insightful series provides perspectives and procedures for shepherding your child's heart into the paths of life.
Many parenting classes are based on hit-or-miss theories steeped in worldly thinking. In this revised edition of Shepherding a Child's Heart, Dr. Tedd Tripp not only draws on his thirty years experience as a pastor, counselor, school administrator, and father, but he also shares insights gained in many years of teaching this material in conferences worldwide, providing more valuable help for parents. Grounded in the Bible’s divine plan for parenting, the class defines your goals as a parent and provides the Scriptural methods for accomplishing them.
A 45-page class handbook is provided with your enrollment in the class. Each class is formatted with a 30-minute presentation followed by discussion that is facilitated by class facilitators.
