Celebrate Recovery

Celebrate Recovery

Friday Nights at 7:00 pm - holiday's included
Harvest Church Lockwood Campus, 1413 Rosebud Lane - Billings, Montana

At Celebrate Recovery we focus on celebrating God's healing power in our lives through the Eight Principles and the Christ centered Twelve Steps. This experience allows us to be changed. We open the door by sharing our experiences, strengths and hopes with one another. In addition, we become willing to accept God's grace in solving our life problems.

By working and applying the Biblical principles we begin to grow spiritually. We become free from our addictive, compulsive and dysfunctional behaviors. This freedom creates peace, serenity, joy, and most importantly, a stronger personal relationship with God and others. As we progress through the program, we discover our personal, loving and forgiving Higher Power - Jesus Christ!

Who is Celebrate Recovery for?

Most people think of Celebrate Recovery as a place for severe addicts. But actually, it's for anyone young, old, male or female. It's for anyone who has a habit, hurt or hang-up, or for anyone who wants to reach out and get help. The Biblical principles modeled through the Twelve Steps can help all of us. So this isn't just about drugs and alcohol. It's about finding healing from anything that is keeping us from the life God meant for each of us to have. It is about growth, getting healthy again, and growing closer to God. Whatever you are struggling with; what ever your addiction, Celebrate Recovery can help.

What happens on Friday nights?

7:00 - 7:20 - Large Group Music
7:20 - 7:30 - 8 Principles or 12 Steps and their Biblical comparisons
7:30 - 7:55 - Recovery Teaching or Testimony
7:55 - 8:00 - Closing and dismiss to Small Groups
8:00 - 9:00 - Gender specific small groups

Is there childcare available for those at Celebrate Recovery?

Childcare is available free of charge on Friday evenings for participants of Celebrate Recovery. We are thankful we can provide quality care and activities for children birth through 5th grade while their parents participate. We strive to maintain the safest environment for all children and adults. We encourage families to eat together during the fellowship time and then check in their children at 6:45 pm. We request and expect that all children will be picked up no later that 9:15 pm.

Is CR Right For Me?

Have you ever felt:

  • Helpless or hopeless in your circumstances?
  • Overwhelmed or out-of-control; as if your life is unmanageable?
  • Frustrated that you failed again - for the umpteenth time?
  • So discouraged that it's hard to put one foot in front of the other?
  • Alone or crazy?
  • Embarrassed and ashamed that you can't stop __________________ (fill in the blank)?
  • Faulty and that you're a failure?
  • Scared and paralyzed to do anything about "it"?
  • That no one could possibly understand your situation?
  • No one cares about the incredible pain you're in?
  • That if people knew about ______________ that they people wouldn't like you?
  • You are not alone! These questions were asked by Celebrate Recovery leaders so we understand what you're doing through.

Come to Celebrate Recovery because you'll find:

  • Others struggling just like you are.
  • That you're accepted unconditionally.
  • Help from God to change the way He wants you to change.
  • Healing.
  • Insight to truth.
  • Freedom from bondage.
  • The source of your fears.
  • Healthier thinking.
  • A new "toolbox" that will help you learn how to respond instead of how to react.
  • It's not all about you!
