Up There - Down HereAfter a series on Heaven, I felt it would be good to talk about "bringing heaven to earth." Jesus talks about His way of living with terms like "Eternal Life", "Kingdom of God", and "Kingdom of Heaven." These are realities, He tells us, we can live right now not just after we die. Maybe even more extraordinary, he says His followers get the privilege of bearing and bringing His kind of life to earth - His Eternal, Kingdom life. We actually get to bring up there down here.
One of Jesus' most radical and challenging teachings has to do with this. We call it "The Sermon on the Mount." It's recorded in Mathew 5, 6, and 7, and it's where we will spend the next several weeks. Join us we study the "world's greatest sermon" and learn how to bring up there down here.
